Questions

Can I book a black cab in advance?

Yes. Choose Later when you book, pick the day and time, and a licensed driver is confirmed half an hour before your pickup.

Will the driver know I need the ramp?

Yes. It shows on the job before the driver accepts, and again when they arrive.

How do I pay?

You pay the metered fare to the driver in the cab, by card or cash. London Cabbies doesn't add a booking fee or surge pricing.

Licensed cabbie? Keep the whole fare.

Pay 10% of the meter, never more than £2 a job, billed weekly. No commission on the fare, ever.
